Membership vows
I thank God that a year ago in October, Street Level’s board advised us to attend a local church. Mike and I had been involved with PCA churches in the past, so we decided to visit a PCA church plant, called Redeemer, that meets Uptown. We really liked it. The people there believe in the transforming power of the resurrection of Christ and they are living that out in New Orleans. Being there has been like living waters to my parched soul. I would probably feel lost without Billy and Brenda if not for having been involved with Redeemer for a year now. I have never found it easy to live in the Big Easy. Even now, after God has softened my hard heart and I fell in love with the place, I still find it difficult. Yet, seeing the zeal and commitment of this church to, as they say, “celebrating Christ—serving New Orleans”, I feel energized and I have hope for the future. We joined Redeemer Presbyterian Church today.

Yeah Terri! Congrats on a big step. I hope you find good soul food there and encouragement. Love you.
